Bio

Please take a look at them-

Series • Flame of Recca //Recca no Hoono

Background • A clone created by Mori Kouran from the DNA of two people (Kurei and Kurenai), Aoi was branded a failure as he was unable to call upon the Flame and was said to have serious defects as a 'human being'. He considered himself to be a deep sea creature, a deformed creature unable to live in the upper ocean of those who had normal lives.

Although he led those under Mori Kouran, he was never praised or pampered in the same manner as his 'sister', Renge, a clone who had successfully been able to use the Flame- although to no great success. For a time, he pretended to be a female student in Hanabishi Recca's school so as to get closer to Sakoshita Yanagi, whose powers of healing Mori wished to exploit to make himself immortal. When he did capture Yanagi, though, he was not greatly credited or praised.

Deeply resentful, his only reason for slaving under Mori was because of the hope that the man would create 'a world where even I can live in'. The fight he later had with Recca (who commented that he'd been wallowing in self pity all that time) changed his perception of that, alerting him to the fact that he could in fact have lived the life of his own choosing- and that he'd always had that choice.

He arrived in the City a moment or two after that battle- still a bit unsure, still a bit confused, but perhaps not the Aoi he'd been before it.
